There are scenes where the characters are in one location, then at the end they’re in a different location with no transition or acknowledgement there was a shift. As Leigh settles into her new home, she encounters a series of inexplicable events that validate the ghostly tales surrounding Simmons-Pierce Manor. The writing was done so well and the author truly possesses such great descriptive prowess — as many have mentioned.
