Known as the most common lily of the valley ingredients, these 2 were 10 times more important than oakmoss. It starts citrusy and spicy, a bit sweet too (a bit feminine), then after 10 or 20 minutes it dries down to a very masculine, dry scent (a lot of cinnamon), that is not excessively heavy or warm.

The drydown introduces a vanilla-amber combo, which is very pleasant, although nothing groundbreaking or unique. Very cool perfume, opens with a bitter watermelon, i do not believe it is the watermelon fruit, but something very similar, only more closed and less sweet.I've had more than 70 fragrances but it was only for Carolina Herrera Chic that people so frequently asked what was I wearing.

I used to love and wear this fragrance for quite a while but unfortunately it no longer smells the same. The real chic lies in contrasts: when the simple becomes complicated, because it encourages thinking and has a magical, influential power. What struck me is that it triggered a scent memory of one of my greatest fragrance loves over the past 20+ years: vintage Moschino Uomo (striped box with the question mark. The spicy-cinnamon aspect could be the black pepper oil x cardamom seed oil, and simply the rosey-spicy Citronellol touch.
