Despite barely even knowing each other, Amaya and Bella have a rather complicated relationship. Amaya first learns of her after meeting her runway group, learning that she is in fact her replacement. Amaya feels guilty about this, however Bella appears rather bitter towards her. They were later seen talking in " The Eclipse - Phase One, Part Two", suggesting that they have become friends. They were seen later interacting more in " The Big Day Off". Ruby and Kia first meet when Ruby applies for a job at the Rainbow Union. Kia then shows her the ropes of the job, but Ruby has lots of trouble getting the hang of everything. This boils over when Ruby believes she's been fired, only to realize that she got the job and Kia has faith in her abilities.

Her parents are Rainbow High Alumni, though they have never been seen or more then slightly mentioned. Having a large role, Sunny works in a special group alongside the band Rainbow Dream, feeling very excited to work with them. When they make their entrance however, they instantly begin arguing with each other, stressing her out. Anderson is a surname meaning 'son of Andrew', though it was presumably given to Ruby as a reference to the creator of Rainbow High, Michael Anderson. Both Sunny and her sister Luna make a large appearance where they are both the models for both schools' projects, with Sunny talking to the Shadow High team about how to design Luna's outfit. As they do this, Luna tells Rainbow High all about Sunny's perfect outfit, with Violet helping as well. Near the end she models her new outfit, being in total love with it. Luna and Sunny have known Violet ever since they were babies. Their moms are friends, so they've known each other forever. In the episode " The Eclipse - Phase One, Part Two" she calls Violet "Purple" after laughing, hinting that they know each other. She was the second (after Sunny) to accept Amaya as part of the group, and she shares a dorm room with her. Although they didn't exactly get along at first, after Violet found that Amaya was a fan, she started being friendly to her. Her appearance is similar to Amethyst Rae's appearance from the similar franchise Rainbow Surprise.With Amaya still being a bit worried about fitting in with her new group, Sunny continues to guide and help Amaya throughout the episode. She is also the first character to be introduced to the school's Color Change Chamber, being the one to convince the rest of the girls to give it a try. When Jade and Amaya make it up, she suggests taking a selfie with the new group, uniting them as a group.

GORGEOUS FEATURES: Sunny is dressed in YELLOW from head to toe. She has gorgeous, detailed features in her fashion, beautiful long yellow straight hair in two ponytails, long eye lashes and glass eyes. Sunny and Briana present their project to Ms. Wright and Ms. Barnes for Radiant Week, but Ms. Barnes replies that their project isn't original. Despite this negative review, the student body are very intrigued and interested in their project. Sunny, along with the rest of her group, is seen working on the runway group project when they are interrupted by Ms. Wright who lets the girls know that Bella is being expelled. Being understandably upset, Sunny and the rest of girls immediately panic and are heartbroken. They are then abruptly introduced to Amaya, with Sunny being rather confused.
