About this deal

This makes me FEEL sensual and adorable and like a princess... It's comforting in its sweetness. It's reassuring and it definitely relaxes you in an intimate way. Where as Aura is more commanding and leading, taking charge even, Aura Sensuelle is their younger sibling who has all the time in the world to lounge about and feel good about themselves.

Errrr... no. (Allow me to state that I mean *no* offense whatsoever if you love this and are able to wear it... what follows is a description of my experience and mine alone. Obviously, this juice is still on the market because it *does* sell, and there are a significant number of people out there who smell amazing while wearing it. Unfortunately for me... I'm not one of them. Oh, boy, am I *ever* not one of them.) Now, musk and sandalwood is my all time favorite combination, I absolutely adore it, and reading that this had this combo in it made me so hopeful... It is early evening in late summer. The sun is low and warm yellow in the sky. I decide to walk after dinner, wandering no where in particular. The blossoms and herbs release their heady and rich scents leading me onwards. I realize I am in my favorite grove of fragrant trees. It is lit by fireflies. This is where I have met my beloved many times before. Will they appear tonight? It lasts forever which is a plus. Umm- the summer heat is def not ideal for this. So I will be trying it again if we ever have a another fall/winter that gets chilly. Apocalyptic fire tornadoes make me doubtful. What to do with all our cool weather scents?! 🙁 The scent is great. If you have smelled the original and found it a bit too strong, this might be for you. This has a lot of the Aura DNA, but it has a lighter freshnes, that opens up a bit sharp, without being citrusy. It seems better for the warmer weather, where the original is great for colder days and rain.

There is definitely a tcp / germoline / deep-heat muscle relaxant cream vibe going on. It's kind of like you sprayed perfume over some antiseptic cream. I'd recommend this to people of all ages who love something sugary and provocative that has a certain level of power to it. You CANNOT walk into a room and shrink with this on - you'll either seem insincere of coy - because this was made for you to stand out and have sensuelle eyes from the get go. It truly is quite rare in how it is so well blended. The animalic accord is fairly hidden behind all powder and white florals but it's there... laying like a leopard. Basking in its own loveliness. It's a very bright and cheerful perfume, in my opinion. I'm not usually a fan but someone with a caramel-esque perfume was standing close to me on the commute to work and I thought the warmth of burnt caramel would make a great addition to the Aura if the wearer wants to go in a more gourmand direction. There's a faint smell of wet grass, but nothing disgusting. I see how the heat and humidity really helps the fragrance to shine! There was a sweet smell from all the elements sun, water, flowers merging and Integrating that this perfume truly captures.

The “wolfwood,” described by Mugler as an “animalic” vegetal substitute for wood, is animalic, peaty and opaque. This is no woody base. Instead, the base is a prominent vanilla. It isn’t quite gourmand, but a little powdery. It reminds me of the vanilla in the first Alien Goddess release, but less boring. I sound like I hate this, when I don't. It is quality, and it is distinctive. If you can ignore the whole, medicine thing, it does have a lovely fresh, fizzy quality. It also reminds me of when you walk into the perfume section of a department store and you're hit by a cloud of every perfume under the sun. They may clash, but they also come together in joyous harmony, filling the air. The volume of vanilla soon escalates to the max, and pushes the interesting tropical greenery aside. Combined to the potent fruity sweetness, Aura actually smells very much like typical commercial fruity tonka-vanilla gourmand fragrances on today's market. There's also an artificial, peppery smoky note mixed within, screechy like nails on the chalkboard. Meanwhile, the orange blossom seems to only bring its grape-y sweetness to the table, further enhancing the fruity vanilla gourmand impression. I can hardly notice any floral aspect.

This one is a bit complex to describe, and it may smell overwhelming at times. It's different, but reminds me of the general vein of "Alien", so, it's not bizarre this one came from the same fashion house. Like an immersion in the heart of lush vegetation with pure and green freshness, this accord unveils a duo of green and floral notes: the original combination of Rhubarb Leaf with tangy and crunchy notes, with luminous Orange Blossom and deliciously feminine. Together, they diffuse an intense vibrant freshness Aura Sensuelle is very close to Aura EDP, closer than the notes list suggests. Vanilla and rhubarb are toned down by a lot, but they're still there as a part of the unmistakable Aura DNA which I'd summarize as 'eating custard in the jungle'. Very leafy and green, but also sweet and creamy and kind of reminiscent of woodruff flavored goodies. In Sensuelle, floral notes were added to make the scent softer and less punchy. I would not have guessed gardenia, but when you know it, it makes sense as a note. Like some plush, velvety white petals floating above all the green leaves. The cinnamon leaf note is also very subtle, I only detect it in because I know it's there. It's a nice little twist, but I wish these two notes were stronger to give the perfume more of a unique, distinct personality. And yet I still in principle admire the less popular Mugler scents like Womanity. So I want to like this. It’s just so freaking hard! It’s a screamo sugar bomb- but a green herbal caramel milkshake? No that sounds like barf…It’s not bad. It’s just a lot. Of sugar.

i was seriously expecting to hate this, even as a mugler stan. this one seems extra controversial. on paper, aura truly doesn't look like something i would normally go for (not much of a green fragrance enjoyer) but omfg. OMFG was i wrongthese terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, do And Aura began to project. And project. And... project!!! It filled my nostrils. It filled the car. Given half a chance, I suspect it might have attempted to conquer the world. (So, if this works on you, congratulations -- longevity and sillage are impeccable.) It delivers sweet, green, aromatic, indolic floral, spicy, aquatic, powdery/ sunscreen/ cosmetic, and balsamic tones, all together.
