About this deal

CONFIDENTIALITY. This Agreement and the Materials are Intel confidential information and subject to Your valid corporate non-disclosure agreement with Intel (CNDA). Except as authorized in Section 2.1, you must not disclose this information to anyone, including the U.S. government. This Agreement will not become effective, or will automatically terminate, in the absence of a CNDA. Since it’s a bit of a long shot without more data about the problem, I’ll mention it with that in mind: Intel I’ll first show how each router did with AC and AX STAs. First up is the ASUS GT-AX11000, the most expensive router in this round-up.

This time, two AX200 runs were done, but instead of switching the AX200 to AC mode, it was left as an AX STA, but using the Linux driver. No Implied License. Except for the express license in Section 2.1, Intel does not grant any express or implied licenses to you under any legal theory. Intel does not license You to make, have made, use, sell, or import any Intel technology or third-party products, or perform any patented process, even if referenced in the Materials. Any other licenses from Intel require additional consideration. Nothing in this Agreement requires Intel to grant any additional license.

And that’s it. If you’re using a Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E router, your computer can now connect to it using a Wi-Fi 6 (5GHz) or Wi-Fi 6E (6GHz) connection, respectively — both caps at 2.4Gbps using your newly installed adapter card.

The goal of this round of tests is to assess the performance seen by a two-stream AX (aka Wi-Fi 6) device by running classic rate vs. range (RvR) tests. All routers were set as follows: MU-MIMO support has also generally been MIA for AX clients. When it is enabled, it will be for downlink only; AX MU-MIMO UL (uplink) won’t be supported until a later revision of the 11ax spec.

License. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Intel grants to You, for the Term, a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable, worldwide, fully paid-up license under Intel’s intellectual property rights in the Materials, without the right to sublicense, to use the Materials in the development of Your Products, including modifying Materials delivered as source code, and distributing the Materials, including Your modifications, in object form, embedded in or for execution on Your Product and under terms and conditions consistent with Your rights and obligations under this Agreement. You may disclose the Materials to Your subcontractor for its work on Your Products under an agreement preventing the subcontractor from disclosing the Materials to others. Tyraelos: You likely know that WiFi6 uses both the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz band. WiFi6E additionally makes use of the 6GHz band. There’s a very fine article about this:Each router was centered on the turntable in an octoBox 38 test chamber, as shown below. This box is part of the TR-398 testbed and will likely be the one used once the next revision of the SNB wireless test process is finalized. Only the left-hand set of antennas was used in these tests. If you can verify that, and the PC still doesn’t see the SSID of your WiFi6 network, you may want to peek at your desktop computer more closely…
