About this deal

Eleanor and Fin's stories hook you right from the off, making you root for them as individuals as well as for their sizzling, gorgeous romance that builds throughout the book. Funny, heart-wrenching and simply brilliant. Beth Reekles, bestselling author of The Kissing Booth series

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, Fin is reeling from a phone call from England, telling him his mother is at the end of her life. A mother he left behind and hasn't spoken to for many years. As well as many other people who were precious to him at one point. Oh, and he's just ended his current relationship, too. I always enjoy getting comments about my books (especially lovely ones!), and am always willing to attend your book club or do a phone conference if you'd like to have me. So much covered, from alcoholism to estrangement, and how hiding your feelings can be the worst thing you could ever do.Those of us who enjoy reading romance fiction find that we get set to experience the "Happily Ever After" most of the time, regardless of the time period or genre of the context. It just seems that is a part of loving romance fiction. It comes as a bit of an emotional "jar" when we encounter the unhappy ending or at best, the bittersweet resolution . . . the way so much of life tends to be resolved, if the truth be known. Losh, that made me titter, given he was responsible for the most embarrassing episode I’ve experienced in my beloved theatre. Which Aberdeen council bampot entered into a deal with the now-in-administration Countesswells developers to build a secondary in the area? How many aeons before that could have been filled with local teenagers? Sadly, it now seems contributions from the housebuilders from it can’t be used for the new Hazlehead. Shambles. Our second match in the group stage of the FA Women's Continental League Cup sees us face Bristol City at Leyton Orient's Brisbane Road for the second time this season on Wednesday evening (7.30pm). How have they fared since our 3-1 win in the WSL on 8 October?

Little did I know we had front-row seats when my quine announced she’d to go to the lavvie. So, the three of us were, admittedly conspicuous, late arrivals. Aged thirteen, best friends Eleanor and Fin are inseparable. Convinced it will always be this way they make a pact - to go to university together, always live near each other, and if they're both single at 35 they'll get married. Eleanor and Finley have been best friends since they were dots, then life happened, and Fin disappeared from Eleanor's life. Don't even get me started on the random relationship with Ben. It was so obvious that Eleanor wasn't into him... Not replying to his texts for days and weeks. I'm not sure what 35 year old man would then ask someone to be his girlfriend after that. It was just weird and I didn't really understand the point of the relationship for the story. That Commission paper is an analysis of the challenge of globalisation and how we meet it, how we meet it both as member states and how we meet it as the European Union. HMT has been part of my life since I was a wee yin in Babs Wilson’s dance school, when we graduated up from The Tivoli to stage our annual Easter shows, Revels in Rhythm – no, dinna think onybody but Babs and her sister Lexy understood that title. No. I shall not spoil it for you, and tell you that they live happily ever after, but I will say that I finished the book with a smile on my face, but not before shedding some tears, too. This is an emotionally driven story, and even though it revolves around the difficult topic of divorce, the story transmits more hope than regret. Celine and Mark are very fleshed out characters, Mason is as great with character development as she is with prose. The mental struggles the two face head-on in Love Market are realistic and poignant.

This was an emotionally gripping friends-to-lovers romance. Through 2 decades, Eleanor & Fin's lives have gone through so much that it's beyond imagination. This book is told from past and present perspectives. So, we meet our leading couple in numerous situations and how they end up where they are now. Romantic, hopeful and uplifting, I loved Last Time We Met and the gorgeous, emotional friendship at its heart. Eleanor and Fin are two characters who I couldn't help but fall in love with, and who will stay with me for some time Emily Stone, author of Always, in December

HITTING HOT TROPES: This slow burn, friends-to-lovers second chance romance is what readers are craving right now. Last Time We Met by Emily Houghton – eBook Details I cried, I laughed, I swooned! A gorgeous friends-to-lovers romance' Laura Jane Williams, author of Our Stop They intended to stay close, to go to university together and, if they were both still single at 35, to marry. I didn't enjoy this. I don't think I'm a fan of the friends to lovers tropes. It was far too slow paced for me and I would have liked more signs of Fin's feelings to Eleanor when they were younger. I ended up skipping through a lot of the book as I just found it a bit boring and the main characters hardly interacted which I didn't like.
